Chapel Field is a part of Affirmative Evangelism Fellowship. Not only do we strive for the best academically, but we also are a “ministry”-minded school. Here are a few of our ministries available to our students and others who would like to be involved.
Youth Conquest with Christ is a Christian Service Fraternity whose members are committed to reaching out in the name of Christ to help those in need. Youth Conquest is not a social, nor activities-centered group. Its members complete projects to comfort and relieve people in need. The members meet, pray, and plan projects such as visiting veterans hospitals, nursing homes, food kitchens, helping elderly with chores, moving, and shopping. Members form mission teams visit orphanages and schools in Honduras and Africa, sponsor orphan children, and work with Samaritan's Purse, a non-denominational evangelical Christian International Relief organization.
Youth Conquest with Christ has chapters at a number of schools and colleges. If you are in secondary school or college, and would like to become a member of Youth Conquest, please Contact Us.
The Dwaarkill Study Center was established in 2013 in order to provide the Hudson Valley with a venue for continuing adult Christian education. Named after the stream that runs through our beautiful campus, the study center offers classes and lectures on a wide range of subjects in Bible, theology, philosophy, history, apologetics, and many others. As the apostle Paul commands, we are to “take every thought captive to the obedience of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Matthew Twenty-Five is the relief ministry of both Chapel Field and Youth conquest. Members are dedicated to meeting the needs of those most suffering, “The least of these my brethren,” -Matthew 25. With the help of Chapel Field students and Youth Conquest, members have sent shipping containers of food, clothing, medical supplies, and equipment to starving orphanages in Africa.
Teams of students and teachers have visited orphanages and schools in Africa to complete work projects, bring food and supplies, and most of all, to bring hope to the least of these my brethren. This ministry has brought boys from these orphanages, who have had little or no hope of success, out of Africa, to Chapel Field where they have graduated and gone on to college.
Birth Option Relief Network (BORN) is a ministry that helps support girls who chose life over abortion. Members believe that life starts at conception, and that every fetus is a living human being who deserves the right to live. BORN members support crisis pregnancy centers with funds and supplies, and open their homes to pregnant girls who have no place to go.
BORN supports the family values that teach that marriage is ordained by God, and that sexual relations should only be between a man and a woman who are married. Members encourage all unmarried persons to practice abstinence. We are seeking Christians who are willing to shelter and care for girls that have been abandoned by their families for choosing birth over abortion. If you would like to be included in this life-saving ministry, please Contact Us.
